In a 1930’s book called “Highways and Byways of North Wales", the author describes Marine Crescent thus: “Were I doomed,” he says “to spend the rest of my life behind a single window, I would have that window above all places I know in Great Britain, on the foremost point of the dry, shingly, breezy and above all sunny spot on which these houses stand”.

Deganwy is the ideal place for exploring Snowdonia and the North Wales Coast. Water's Edge (8 Marine Crescent) is the summer residence of a designer and as you’d expect from its 5 star status, great care and attention has been taken over every aspect of the interior. The house was completely restored in the summer of 2008, so everything is just out of the wrapper.

From January through to the end of March we're offering weekends for just £550, from Friday 4pm until Monday 10am. Except for half term and the Easter school holidays.

Lounge: With living flame gas wood burning stove, squishy cream leather sofas 50 inch flatscreen TV and DVD player.
Kitchen: Expansive kitchen with large range cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, American style fridge freezer with icemaker, 50 inch flatscreen TV and large island seating unit with 8 stools.
Lounge: Squishy cream leather sofas and chairs for 8. Large flatscreen TV and DVD player.
Garage: A convenient storage area for all your outdoor kit, the garage has automatic roller shutter doors.There's also a washing machine, dryer and sink/utility area.
First Floor
Bedroom 1: Twin with 2 solid oak single beds, oak wardrobe and drawers digital radio alarm clock with ipod dock, flatscreen TV/DVD combi.
Family Bathroom: Tiled in natural stone, this bathroom has a P-shaped Jacuzzi bath.
Bedroom 2: Double with solid oak bed, oak wardrobe and drawers, digital radio alarm clock with ipod dock, flatscreen TV/DVD combi.
Lounge: This room has raised views of the Conwy Estuary. Looking out over Conwy Marina and Conwy mountain beyond. To the right you can see Anglesey and to the left Conwy Castle. The room has an L-shaped sofa plus 2 armchairs, a 50 inch flatscreen TV, DVD player and Sony Playstation2 with a few games.
Second Floor
Bedroom 3: Twin with 2 single solid oak beds, oak wardrobe and drawers, digital radio alarm clock with ipod dock, flatscreen TV/DVD combi.
Ensuite shower room: Tiled in natural stone, with shower cubicle with large "dinner plate" shower-head, toilet and sink.
Bedroom 4/Master suite: King-size bed, large flat screen TV, this elegant room has ceiling to floor windows and balcony with glass surrounds so you can lie in bed and gaze out over the estuary.
Dressing room: With wardrobe and drawers.
Ensuite bathroom: With luxurious wooden bath, twin "his and hers" sinks, shower cubicle with dinner plate shower head and toilet.
