The Terrace has been given a special award by the Windermere Civic Society for best visual contribution to the village. It's not hard to see why!

Cinema NEW FOR SUMMER 2009.
In the cellar we have a magnificent 14 seat cinema. With hi-def projector, cinema surround sound and Blue Ray/DVD player this is a treat on one of those rainy lake district days.

Lounge.
The lounge seats 14 around a cosy living flame fire. It's equipped with a flatscreen TV, DVD player with cinema surround sound an a hifi unit with ipod dock.

A huge dining table with 14 chairs dominates this room. The perfect place to gossip away an evening with friends

New kitchen for autumn 2009.
We've just completed a £25,000 refit on our kitchen (October 2009). Solid oak units, Lakeland slate worktops and tartan wallcoverings - we're really proud!

We've replaced the old AGA with a 7-ring burner, twin fan oven range cooker.

The kitchen has two main areas one for cooking and prep' and one for washing and tidying. There's room for everyone!

We've installed a 46 bottle wine chiller to take care of the essentials.

Range cooker.
The cooking area of the kitchen is designed as the social hub of the house. You'll always find a party in our kitchen.

Central island unit
Our slate topped central island unit has 8 tall oak seats perfect for gathering around with a glass of wine to watch your chef perform!

Rear courtyard
The rear of the house opens onto an enclosed courtyard. A raised area is home to a large teak table and chair set.

Front patio
There's a small seating area at the front of the house with teak table and chairs. It's a real sun-trap and the perfect place to unwind and take those well worn hiking boots off.

Bedroom 1 - double.
This room has a double half-tester bed and an ensuite shower and toilet.

Bedroom 2 - king-size.
The master bedroom, with elegant four-poster bed plus ensuite shower room.

Bedroom 4 - bunk room.
This room has adult-size sturdy bunk beds.

Bedroom 5 - twin.
Twin bedroom with vanity unit/sink

Bedroom 6 - double (plus extra single).
This room has a double bed and an extra single (making the capacity of the house 15). It also has a (long distance) view of Lake Windermere from the window.

Bedroom 7 - twin.
Twin oak beds with ensuite shower and toilet.

Be a lord/lady for the weekend.
The master bedroom will make you feel like you're the Lord and Lady of the manor.
